Jennifer Thomas Scanio, PT, CLT
Jennifer is a highly experienced physical therapist with an impressive 28 years of experience, including over 15 years dedicated to the specialized field of lymphedema management. A graduate of Saint Louis University in 1996, she has been proudly serving the New Orleans community since 1997, bringing her passion and expertise to help individuals regain and maintain their physical well-being.
Jennifer’s commitment to patient care goes beyond the clinic. She believes in empowering her patients to reach their personal goals and aspirations, tailoring each treatment plan to their unique needs. By staying at the forefront of advancements in physical therapy and lymphedema management, Jennifer ensures her patients benefit from the latest techniques and evidence-based practices.
Her approach combines a deep well of knowledge with a compassionate, patient-centered focus, making her a trusted partner in the journey toward improved mobility and quality of life. Whether it’s addressing complex lymphedema cases or helping someone recover from an injury, Jennifer brings a level of dedication that sets her apart.

Dr. Tyra Mitchell-Williams, PT, DPT, MHA, CLT, CEAS
Meet Dr. Tyra Mitchell-Williams, PT, DPT, MHA, CLT, CEAS, co-founder of Riverside Wellness Works, LLC and a physical therapist with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University and has been actively involved in professional organizations such as the APTA, serving as Director of Research for the Academy of Leadership and Innovation and Committee Chair for the APTA Louisiana LEG Committee.
In her free time, Dr. Mitchell-Williams enjoys celebrating Mardi Gras and can often be found on the uptown route celebrating with friends and family. She is also dedicated to lifelong learning and is currently learning French. With a passion for personalized, in-home wellness, Dr. Mitchell-Williams specializes in vestibular therapy, post-concussion management, and holds a certification in lymphedema therapy.
